'aha' moments...

The Mutual of Omaha film crew came through Austin in May and interviewed staff of the Mobile Art Program for part of their 'aha' moments campaign...

Theresa: "My aha moment would have to be when I saw how happy seniors become when they were able to sit and paint and express themselves creatively through art. It's like watching a flower bloom - the fog of boredom is lifted and they come alive with excitement. Friendships are forged during the sessions which are extremely important to those who have been placed in a nursing homes. We want to change the way our community looks at seniors. They have wisdom and knowledge to share which is communicated through their art."
